Our Story

Just South of Broadway was founded in 2005 by students, and continues to be a student-run theatre company. Putting up a show every summer since its founding, JSOB has staged ‘You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown’ (1999 revival), and Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine’s ‘Into the Woods’. All of JSOB’s shows are completely student directed, choreographed, technical directed, music directed, and cast. In in just one year’s time our shows and popularity have grown exponentially, from a cast of seven to a cast of eighteen and an orchestra of twelve! Just South of Broadway continues to seek out talented and responsible students to be a part of this very exciting process.
